Smart, welcoming, authentic, purposeful, passionate, fun, committed. If it sounds like a great date, that’s because it is. We embrace the ultimate in exercise science giving you the confidence to know you are participating in the safest, most effective workout on the planet.
We are passionate about alignment. We ignite awareness through hands-on training and education. The result is better posture, better movement, and a more complete workout. We do in a single class what takes others a week.
It’s simple, but revolutionary. Proper alignment radiates outward from the spine, bringing balance. When we start with alignment the muscles engage in their correct positions, elongating, contracting, strengthening. Other workouts focus on movement first, they have you spinning your wheels, working harder than you need to, and never really balancing the body for optimal fitness and safety. The Dailey Method helps you work smarter.
The Dailey Method wasn’t started with venture capital or run by a corporation. It was a community effort that caught fire solely through word of mouth. People took the class (loved it) and told their friends, who told their friends and so on. Beyond the workout, it’s the supportive teachers and community atmosphere that sets The Dailey Method apart. Unlike a traditional large fitness class, clients receive individual education and 1-on-1 attention. The practice helps ground and center clients to transform their minds and bodies. That is all considered part of the hands-on holistic approach that makes the Dailey difference. Still looking for answers, Learn More about our signature method.
“Nothing else I’ve tried comes close to feeling as healthy or as effective as the low impact, slow and controlled movements of TDM. I love the instructors, the other clients, and the warm and encouraging atmosphere. The Dailey Method has become a staple in my life and I’m so grateful to have found it.”– Julia B., Calabasas
Working out has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I used to think that the heavier and harder you go the faster you’ll see results. I was nervous for TDM to be my sole workout after having the baby, but after countless conversations with instructors, they assured me I would see results in a whole different way. I started to measure myself and I quickly noticed I was losing inches, everywhere! It’s exciting to see that my body has started to change in many ways. I’m feeling longer and leaner. I’m excited to see my arms getting toned with lighter weights rather than killing myself with huge heavy weights! No workout is the same and each one is a challenge. I can’t imagine my life without TDM. It is amazing for your mind and body and I feel as if I’m nurtured in every class. I am looking forward to seeing myself become stronger, leaner and hopefully more flexible!– Gina U., Northbrook
“Classes are always filled with familiar faces from around the community, making it easy to share a laugh or two after a great workout.”– Tom Sandt, La Grange
“As challenging as it is during this 60-minute class, I always feel like I am floating on my way out the door, and each time I can’t wait to sign up for my next leg-shaking session (set to great music, of course).”– Lisa K., SF Mission Castro
“My Dailey practice has taught me that when you are preparing for something challenging inside and outside the studio you need to breathe to make space for it. This committed practice inside and outside the studio has taught me to have a strong foundation, align then move. It has become a way of life for me personally and professionally to be just as strong as I am flexible.”– Sara Provenzano, Elmhurst
“I love having a community to be connected to with others who choose to live a healthy lifestyle.”– Julie Guy, San Diego
“I first came to The Dailey Method two years ago kicking and screaming courtesy of my wife, Anne, on a date class. She had been attending for quite some time and thought I would enjoy it, plus it would be a workout we could do together. Not a chance I thought. After the first session I knew this form of exercise would be a benefit to me. At 6’9” and 64 years old (next month) my goals are to improve posture, balance and core strength.. I enjoy exercising with Anne and, for the most part, my goals are seeing some improvement. The staff is great, from front desk to each and every teacher to Michelle herself. I actually look forward to my workouts. I also feel I’m an inspiration to other people because they can take solace in knowing they aren’t the worst one in class as long as I’m present. Anne was correct as always, I do enjoy me some Dailey Method.”– Don Ford, former player in the NBA
