Non-impact, weight-bearing exercises are the most efficient movement for muscle strength. Physical results come quickly because muscles respond naturally to this approach. Added to our obsession with healthy neutral spine position, and our focus on education and individual attention, and The Dailey Method is like nothing else.

You will feel it on the very first class. Come three times per week, for six weeks and you will experience a significant increase in strength and flexibility and notice improved tone in your body. Greater results are achieved with more frequency per week and continuity over time.
Anyone interested in improving their fitness level; including increased strength, flexibility, stamina, better posture and body awareness are welcome. Our students range from 14 to 75 years old.
The Dailey Method provides deep, efficient muscle fitness—without a direct aerobic element. However, more advanced students keep their heart rate elevated as they participate more vigorously. Many of our studios offer Dailey Cycle, for those who want to add extra cardio to their fitness routine.
Yes, The Dailey Method is a very safe form of exercise. It is based on orthopedic movement and is devoted to the most current research. All of the exercises emphasize proper alignment and form. Through our careful instruction, the ankles, knees, hips and spine are strengthened and stabilized. Students who have come to us with previous injuries have been amazed at the speed of their recovery.
Yes, The Dailey Method is a very safe workout for pregnant and postpartum women. Many of our students, including Jill Dailey McIntosh, have attended classes throughout their pregnancies. A few minor modifications make this class a very thorough and effective workout to help you look and feel your best. Please note that a written consent from your doctor is required.
Your core is the powerhouse where all efficient movement begins. Regular conditioning of the core muscles is vital for supporting the back and preventing injuries. Correcting posture ensures the best functional movement patterns. The abdominal muscles are a primary part of the core, so The Dailey Method classes emphasize strengthening the abdominal muscles from start to finish.
The Dailey Method is a total body workout. It works you out from the end of your nose to the tip of your toes. After intentionally setting proper alignment every muscle group is taken account, strengthened, and stretched to give you the workout of a lifetime!

Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. Preferably not too loose or baggy so teachers are able to see your alignment/form. Grip socks are required.
