Last week we finished the 8th Annual Owner’s Retreat at our headquarters in Fairfax, California. Owner’s gathered from around the world to connect, enjoy classes and be empowered by the ongoing education and creativity that defines what we do and how we grow.
I am continually inspired by being a part of this community. I love witnessing and experiencing firsthand the passion and commitment that our owner’s exhibit. Through authenticity and a strong quality for value, they ensure that the Method maintains its core foundation. I also love seeing The Dailey Method grow and welcome new voices, new ideas and new smiles! I am truly grateful for everyone that is a part of our TDM family.
One thing that Doug and I feel passionate about is giving space for everyone to have a voice. We believe that is where real power and growth begins. I am amazed by the wealth of talent and leadership skills our owners possess in so many areas. Our retreat offers a forum where we can listen to one another, provide support and allow the creativity to flow. The collaboration between everyone is what makes our Studios and our Method the best barre class on the planet.
Our owner’s are passionate about helping others and one another. Their devotion to the Method, their teachers and their students is inspiring. And they always want to be students themselves which is one of the reasons I believe they are continually fired up about The Dailey Method community as a whole. When we recognize and honor what each individual has to offer, it creates an inviting atmosphere and keeps us all moving forward in a positive direction.
When we come together it never ceases to inspire and amaze me how much we can accomplish. I am constantly learning and seeing things in a new light and as a family we encourage and spur each other on to new heights and new horizons.
Of course, we also allow the time to have fun, drink a margarita or two and go on a hike…
For some Chicagoans it was the first hike they’d ever been on! I don’t think it will be their last!!!
Thanks to all our owner’s, teachers, staff and students for making TDM the vibrant, fun community that we are!
