“To desire is to obtain, to aspire is to achieve.” – James Allen
ASPIRE is The Dailey Method word of the month for August. I love this word because it drives the idea of directing one’s hopes and ambitions toward achieving a goal. It’s the intention of focusing on something towering and big that has the potential to make a huge difference in your own personal life and in the lives of others. It’s not about obtaining some tactile or physical thing, but rather puts the attention on being and acting in a way that aligns you with creating change for the better. “Aspire” takes the material out of people’s goals and shifts it towards the evolution of themselves as well as towards the transformation of the world around them.
Envision your largest hope. Picture your wildest dream. ASPIRE towards that goal this month! Or… start small. There can be one tiny thing you wish to change or shift inside your life. Aspire towards that!
My personal aspiration is a private one. That said, as I keep mine close to me and move into the month of August, I hold the hope that many of you will join me in finding your own.
Imagine a world where everyday we each aspire towards our own personal greatness. Imagine a world where we find ways to become the best versions of ourselves possible. And imagine a world where we discover new paths that change and evolve the quality of our lives for the better. Wow, right??!!
Love,
Jill
