Twenty-five years ago, I opened the doors to the very first Dailey Method studio with a vision, a passion, and a lot of faith. I believed deeply in the transformative power of movement—not just for the body, but for the spirit. What began as a single studio has grown into a global community, and yet, the heart of it all remains the same: connection, alignment, growth, and gratitude.
As I reflect on this milestone, I’m overwhelmed with emotion. I’m proud. I’m humbled. And I’m endlessly thankful.
To the Dailey Method community: thank you.
You have shown up through seasons of strength and struggle, with open hearts and an unwavering commitment to yourselves and each other. You’ve brought energy into our studios, virtually and in person, and helped shape what The Dailey Method is today. Your stories, your breakthroughs, and your courage inspire me every day.
To our teachers and studio owners (past and present): you are the backbone.
Your dedication, love for your clients, and pursuit of excellence have built the vibrant Dailey family across cities and countries. You carry our mission forward with such grace, and I’m honored to walk alongside each of you even as many of you have ventured out on your own journeys, I know this Method has helped you align with what your students bodies need.
To my journey: I’ve grown in ways I never imagined.
The Dailey Method has been my greatest teacher. In 25 years, I’ve learned lessons that have shaped me—not just as a founder and instructor, but as a mother, a friend, and a woman constantly evolving.
Here are a few of those lessons that stand out most to me:
Lesson #1: The Power of Consistency—How Small Actions Create Massive Change
One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is the quiet power of consistency. Staying aligned with my core values—creating the best product possible, prioritizing alignment in body and in life—has been the foundation of everything I’ve done. But consistency didn’t mean rigidity. I’ve always believed in the importance of listening: to my team, to our students, to our evolving needs as a community. The Dailey Method grew not just from my own vision, but from the thousands of voices and hands that shaped it. The strength of our collective commitment—one class at a time, one connection at a time—proved that small, purposeful actions, repeated over time, can lead to extraordinary growth.
Lesson #2: Embracing Change When It’s Right—for You and the Greater Good
When I made the decision to dissolve the franchise model, it could have been easy to frame it as a failure. Instead, I saw it as an evolution—an opportunity to protect the integrity of what we’d built while giving others the freedom to shape their own paths. It was a deeply personal and difficult transition, and it came with uncertainty and grief. But it was also an act of trust—trusting myself, and trusting those who had walked this path with me. Watching former franchisees build studios rooted in their unique communities, and seeing them thrive on their own terms, affirmed that change—when guided by purpose and heart—can be one of the most empowering choices we make.
Lesson #3: Letting Others Hold You Up—The Strength of Community in Vulnerable Moments
There have been many points along this journey where I felt unsure, overwhelmed, or simply exhausted. During one particularly difficult season, when both personal and professional pressures weighed heavily on me, it was the community—the teachers, studio owners, staff, and clients—who lifted me. They reminded me of my own strength when I couldn’t feel it myself. Their support wasn’t always loud or grand; often, it came through a kind word, a shared tear, or the quiet grace of showing up. I’ve come to learn that leadership isn’t just about guiding others—it’s about allowing yourself to be guided, held, and loved when you need it most. The Dailey Method isn’t just a method—it’s a living, breathing community, and I am endlessly grateful to be part of it.
There’s a quote I return to often: “We are all just walking each other home.” That’s what The Dailey Method has been to me—a path home. To my body. To my truth. To my purpose. And I hope it’s been that for you, too.
As we celebrate this 25th anniversary, I’m filled with excitement for what’s to come. We’re not just celebrating where we’ve been—we’re recommitting to where we’re going. The Dailey Method is evolving, expanding, and deepening its roots, and I couldn’t be more honored to lead it into the next chapter.
Thank you for walking this path with me—for showing up, again and again. Here’s to 25 years—and to every step ahead.
With endless love and gratitude,
Jill
