What to Expect
We are passionate about alignment. We ignite awareness through hands-on training and education. The result is better posture, better movement, and a more complete workout. Unlike a traditional large fitness class, clients receive individual education and 1-on-1 attention from our highly trained instructors. Modifications and adjustments will be given to make everyone feel successful and challenged!
What to Wear
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. Preferably not too loose or baggy so teachers are able to see your alignment and form. Socks are required and we sell our trademark Dailey Method grip socks at the studio.
What to Bring
We have mats and all the props you will need. Please bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated, we have filling stations in the studio.
When to Arrive
We suggest that all new clients arrive about 15 minutes early to their first class. This will give you a chance to meet your instructor, take a look around the studio, and ask any questions of our staff to make your first visit relaxed & exceptional.
Proof of vaccination required for all in-person classes
Wait List Policy: If you are trying to sign up for a class that is full, we highly encourage you to put yourself on the waitlist. As students cancel, students on the wait list will be notified via email that they have been added. Reservations will be honored only up to the start of class. If you do not arrive prior to the start of class, your reservation will be forfeited to anyone on the wait list.
Late Cancel/No Show Policy: We require 4 hours notice before making any kind of changes to your schedule. If you cancel or reschedule a class in the online scheduler less than 4 hours of your scheduled class, we will charge a fee of $15. If you don’t show up for a reserved class, or fail to “sign in” with the front desk, you will be charged $15. If you are on a Class Pass, a class will also be deducted from that package.

I love the Dailey Method. It keeps me strong, and limber, helps me keep a healthy back and healthy joints. The teachers are amazingly knowledgeable. I also love that there’s a big range of ages of women in class. I can see strong models of aging beautifully and aging strong that make me feel very hopeful about my own future.- Kia S.
When I started going to Dailey Method, I felt that I’d finally discovered an exercise program that works for me. I began attending classes after I had my first child and it transformed my body. Dailey Method makes me stronger and more toned and gives me extra energy. The instructors are enthusiastic and attentive. The classes are fun and the music is great.- Mary S.
The Dailey Method offers so many classes that there’s always a time I can work into my schedule. I think the teachers are very professional and provide hands-on instruction that ensures that I am safe while I am getting my workout. TDM has changed my body and, by extension, the way I take care of myself. I love TDM!- Gina M.
I like that even though I had no background in yoga, dance, etc. I was able to follow along from the first class and to benefit from the various exercises. Locations and times are convenient, and the studio provides a pleasant atmosphere for both me and my son.- Rosita L.
Susan Willrich opened the first Dailey Method franchised studio, The Dailey Method Piedmont, in 2005. Prior to launching her own studio, Susan completed her Master Instructor certification under the direction of Jill Dailey, teaching classes at the original San Francisco and Marin locations since 2003.
In addition to instructing clients, Susan enjoys the process of recruiting and training our top-notch teaching staff. A graduate of UC Berkeley, Susan’s life-long background in dance and yoga drew her to The Dailey Method. “It combines all the elements of fitness that I truly love: yoga, pilates, and dance. I’ve tried everything, and nothing gave me the results so quickly, efficiently and safely as The Dailey Method. The emphasis on alignment and posture has helped me to stand taller, and feel more confident. Plus, it’s so nostalgic & fun to be at a ballet barre! I feel so lucky I can share it with my community.
We strive to empower individuals to become their most vibrant and authentic selves through a mind/body transformation within a compassionate and supportive community.
