This is a Dailey Power class which is a more challenging format focusing on improving strength, stability, flexibility, and balance. It optionally utilizes heavier weights to increase the strength and definition in your upper body. The movements are primarily slower with an emphasis on balance but with interval pushes to lift your heart rate. There is also quality abdominal work and a balanced stretching component to increase core strength and joint mobility. The cueing and pacing are relatively quick but options and modifications are given to enable all students to be successful. Students are encouraged to work at their own level and to make the positioning a priority for each exercise.
